PIERO BARBARO

I was born and grew up near some of Friuli’s most beautiful rivers, known for their clear waters and environments of rare beauty. It was only natural that I became passionate about fishing.

I started very early to frequent the Meduna River in search of what I consider without doubt the most important fish in salmon waters: the Marmorata and the Blue Fin Grayling.

My passion, especially for fly fishing, pushed me to refine my technique and also to gain the experience necessary to understand the importance of quality fish, at the expense of quantity.

Meduna, Livanza, Varmo and the other resurgences are the places that I frequent, that I live and that deserve to be seen and known.
