Tommaso started fishing when he was only three years old, with his dad, with a floater.

As he grew up he felt the need to move away from these techniques, he felt they were too invasive, and always preferred letting his catch go to bringing them home.

He started experimenting with a little minnow, and caught his first chub. From that moment one he abandoned natural baits and moved first to ultralight spinning and then to fly fishing.

Fly Fishing absorbed him completely, and became the only way he could truly express his love for this sport.

Tommaso fishes with a dry fly, a nymph, and once in a while even a streamer, to try and court the great Piave Trout. He still has his spinning rods, so…

He’s our youngest guide, but has an uncommon experience with rivers, from the bottom of the hills, to the top of the mountains.
