From the first time I saw a fishing float going underwater, it was immediately love!
The place where I live, however, prompted me to take a wilder fishing approach: backpack, waders, rod and reel. That’s all I need when I go fishing in the most isolated streams of Mediavalle del Serchio and Garfagnana areas.
Every single time I go these spots I hope to catch a trout never caught before. As well as in Garfagnana lakes always surrounded by enchanting landscapes and a relaxing silence.
However, it’s in the Serchio river that the average-size of these salmonids seems to increase year by year, and so it also for my desire to discover the surprises hidden under the waters of this amazing river.
In this discipline, we can gain experience just fishing and we are never too skilled. Predator spinning is my favorite technique and I also love travelling for this passion that always makes me learn something new.
