A passionate angler since early childhood, he grew up fishing alongside his father along lowland rivers and canals. At the age of 18, he discovered fly fishing and was immediately captivated by this technique. From that moment on, fly fishing became his main pursuit, allowing him to gain extensive experience with a wide variety of freshwater and saltwater species, both in Italy and internationally.

Over the years, he has targeted and successfully landed species such as bluefin tuna, pike, wels catfish, brown trout, marble trout, grayling, bonefish, and several species of jacks. His versatility as a fly fisherman allows him to confidently use everything from lightweight fly lines for traditional trout fishing to heavy lines designed for large predators.

Today, his greatest enjoyment comes from challenging large river-dwelling trout, enticing explosive surface strikes on his flies in all kinds of weather conditions. Thanks to decades of hands-on experience and technical expertise in fly fishing, he has built strong collaborations with leading brands in the fishing industry.
